Cooking Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms thoroughly with a damp cloth or paper towel; avoid rinsing them under water to prevent sogginess. Trim the bottom of the stems.
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it begins to foam. Add the cleaned mushrooms to the hot skillet, ensuring they are in a single layer to promote even browning.
- Sauté the mushrooms for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and turn golden brown. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
- Add the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to the skillet with the mushrooms. Continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the fresh chopped parsley. Serve the sautéed mushrooms immediately as a delicious side dish or topping.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a splash of white wine or a dash of balsamic vinegar during the last minute of cooking. These mushrooms are great served alongside steaks, chicken, or as a topping for toast.
