Preparation
- Whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, honey, and minced garlic in a bowl to create the marinade. Place the beef cubes in a shallow dish, pour the marinade over them, and toss to coat evenly. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
Assemble Kabobs
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated beef cubes, bell pepper pieces, and red onion pieces alternately onto skewers. Ensure the ingredients are somewhat snug but not overly crowded on the skewers.
Grill Kabobs
- Lightly oil the grill grates. Place the assembled kabobs on the hot grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning them occasionally to ensure even cooking on all sides. The beef should be nicely browned with a slight char, and the vegetables should be tender-crisp.
Serve
- Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. These beef kabobs are delicious on their own or can be served with rice or a fresh salad.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add cherry tomatoes or mushrooms to your kabobs. If using wooden skewers, remember to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent them from burning.
