Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare all vegetables by peeling and slicing two medium cucumbers, chopping two medium tomatoes, and thinly slicing a quarter cup of red onion.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the prepared cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, and two tablespoons of chopped fresh dill.
Dressing
  1. Whisk together three tablespoons of olive oil, one tablespoon of red wine vinegar, one teaspoon of Dijon mustard, half a teaspoon of salt, and a quarter teaspoon of black pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Pour the dressing over the vegetables in the large bowl and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
Serving
  1. Serve the salad immediately for the best fresh taste, or refrigerate it for about 15-20 minutes to chill before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, add some crumbled feta cheese or a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. You can also adjust the amount of red onion to your preference; soaking it in cold water for a few minutes can reduce its sharpness.
