  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
For Serving (Optional)
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • celery sticks
  • tortilla chips

Equipment

  • 8x8 inch baking dish
  • large mixing bowl

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grab an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing, mixing until smooth and thoroughly combined.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Stir in the shredded cooked chicken and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the cream cheese mixture.
  2. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly around the edges and the cheese on top is melted and lightly golden.
Serving
  1. Garnish the hot dip with blue cheese crumbles and sliced green onions, if desired.
  2. Serve immediately with celery sticks and tortilla chips for scooping.

Notes

For extra heat, add a dash of cayenne pepper or a chopped jalapeño to the mixture. If you prefer a milder dip, reduce the amount of buffalo wing sauce or use a less spicy variety. This dip can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated; simply add a few extra minutes to the baking time when reheating.
