  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add the coleslaw mix to the bowl with the dressing.
  3. Toss the coleslaw mix gently until all the cabbage and carrots are evenly coated with the dressing.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the coleslaw to chill.
  5. Stir well before serving chilled as a refreshing side dish.

Notes

For best results, prepare the coleslaw a few hours ahead of time to allow the flavors to deepen. You can also add other mix-ins like chopped green onions, bell peppers, or a dash of celery seeds for extra flavor and crunch.
