  • 4 Large tomatoes
  • 1/2 Red onion
  • 1 Jalapeño
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Dice four large tomatoes, finely dice half a red onion, mince one jalapeño (remove seeds for less heat), and chop half a cup of fresh cilantro.
  2. Mince one clove of garlic.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, and minced garlic.
  4. Add two tablespoons of lime juice and half a teaspoon of salt to the mixture.
  5. Gently stir all ingredients until well combined, then taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
