Prepare the Chicken
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Dredge each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
Cook the Chicken
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Make the Hot Honey Glaze
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and butter. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until butter is melted and the sauce is slightly thickened. Taste and adjust hot sauce as needed.
Combine and Serve
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet with the hot honey glaze. Toss the chicken to coat evenly. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can lightly coat the chicken in cornstarch before dredging in flour. This recipe pairs well with rice, roasted vegetables, or a simple green salad.
