- In a large bowl, combine the chopped iceberg lettuce and crushed tortilla chips, setting aside some chips for garnish.
Assembly
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and sliced green onions to the bowl with the lettuce and chips.
Serving
- Pour the Catalina dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately, garnished with the reserved tortilla chips.
Notes
For an extra kick, add some sliced jalapeƱos or a sprinkle of chili powder to the salad. You can also brown some ground beef or turkey and add it for a more substantial meal.
