Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 1 head Iceberg lettuce
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce
  • 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups Cooked chicken breast diced
  • 4 Hard-boiled eggs chopped
  • 1 Avocado diced
  • 1 cup Tomatoes chopped
  • 4 ounces Blue cheese crumbled
Red Wine Vinaigrette
  • 1/4 cup Red wine vinegar
  • 3/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and chop the iceberg and romaine lettuce, then set aside.
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into pieces.
  3. Dice the cooked chicken breast and chop the hard-boiled eggs.
  4. Dice the avocado and chop the tomatoes.
  5. Crumble the blue cheese.
Red Wine Vinaigrette
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Assembly
  1. Arrange the chopped lettuce on a large platter or in individual bowls.
  2. Arrange the bacon, chicken, eggs, avocado, tomatoes, and blue cheese in rows over the lettuce.
  3. Drizzle with the red wine vinaigrette just before serving, or serve the dressing on the side.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, ripe ingredients. You can also customize the salad with your favorite additions like corn, cucumber, or bell peppers. If making ahead, store the dressing separately and add just before serving to prevent the salad from becoming soggy.
