- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
- Add the cooked chicken, mixed vegetables, noodles or rice, salt, and pepper to the boiling broth.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until noodles/rice are cooked and vegetables are tender.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Serve hot.
Notes
To create 15 variations, experiment with different types of noodles (egg noodles, alphabet pasta), grains (wild rice, quinoa), vegetables (peas, corn, spinach, kale), herbs (parsley, dill, thyme), and spices (paprika, cumin, turmeric). You can also add a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of sour cream for extra flavor. Consider adding a can of diced tomatoes or a splash of coconut milk for a different base. For a richer flavor, brown the chicken before adding it to the broth, or use a combination of chicken broth and vegetable broth.
