Ingredients
  

Basic Overnight Oats
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats
  • 2.25 cups milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
Maple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 0.5 medium mashed banana
Berry Overnight Oats
  • 0.75 cup mixed berries
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Basic Preparation
  1. In three separate jars or containers, combine 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 3/4 cup of milk, and 1 tablespoon of chia seeds in each.
Maple Cinnamon Variation
  1. To one of the jars, add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon; stir well to combine.
Peanut Butter Banana Variation
  1. To the second jar, add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and 1/2 a mashed medium banana; mix thoroughly until well combined.
Berry Variation
  1. To the third jar, add 3/4 cup of mixed berries and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract; stir gently to combine the ingredients.
Chill and Serve
  1. Cover all three jars and refrigerate them overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the oats to soften and thicken before serving.
