Main Ingredients
  • 10 oz fresh spinach
  • 14 oz canned artichoke hearts drained and chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • baking dish
  • large bowl
  • steamer

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish. Steam the fresh spinach until wilted, then squeeze out any excess water and chop it finely.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise, mixing until smooth and well incorporated. Stir in the chopped artichoke hearts, spinach, half of the Parmesan cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese on top is golden brown.
  4. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot with your favorite chips, crackers, or bread.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dip. This dip can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated; simply add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
