Preparation

  2. Water the soil thoroughly until it is evenly moist but not waterlogged.
Planting Seeds
  1. Place 2-3 chili seeds in the center of each pot, spacing them out slightly.
  2. Lightly cover the seeds with about a quarter-inch of seed starting mix.
Germination & Care
  1. Cover the pots with plastic wrap or a clear dome to create a mini-greenhouse effect and maintain humidity.
  2. Place the pots in a warm location with indirect sunlight or under a grow light for 14-21 days.
  3. Keep the soil consistently moist by misting as needed, ensuring it does not dry out.
  4. Once seedlings emerge, remove the plastic cover and ensure they receive at least 6-8 hours of light daily.
  5. After the seedlings develop a few true leaves, thin them to one plant per pot by snipping the weaker ones at the soil line.

Notes

Ensure consistent warmth and moisture for optimal germination. Transplant to larger pots once plants are established and weather permits if growing outdoors.
