  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

  • Skillet
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Measuring Cups

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined, being careful not to overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into 5 equal portions. Roll each portion into a smooth, compact ball.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Carefully place the meatballs into the hot skillet, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, turning occasionally, until all sides are browned.
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover the skillet, and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
Serving
  1. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and serve immediately with your favorite sauce or as desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add finely chopped fresh parsley or a pinch of red pepper flakes to the meat mixture. Meatballs can be served with pasta, in a sub, or as an appetizer with a dipping sauce.
