  • 5 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Lightly grease the skillet with cooking oil.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle about 1/2 cup of shredded cheese over half of the tortilla.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese begins to melt and the bottom of the tortilla is golden brown.
  5. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the cheese, pressing down gently.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  7. Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and cheese.
  8. Slice each quesadilla into wedges and serve immediately with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for an enhanced flavor experience.
