- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Lightly grease the skillet with cooking oil.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle about 1/2 cup of shredded cheese over half of the tortilla.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese begins to melt and the bottom of the tortilla is golden brown.
- Fold the other half of the tortilla over the cheese, pressing down gently.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and cheese.
- Slice each quesadilla into wedges and serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for an enhanced flavor experience.
