Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Small bowl
  • Paper towels
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer
  • Cutting board

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to create the seasoning rub.
  2. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast. Ensure the chicken is fully coated for maximum flavor.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the hot grill. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.
Resting and Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring tender and moist chicken. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours before grilling. Adjust seasoning to your preference, adding chili powder for a spicy kick or oregano for an herbaceous note.
