  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground turkey over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon.
  2. Drain any excess fat and then add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and chicken broth.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for at least 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, stirring occasionally.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a chopped jalapeƱo with the other vegetables. Serve with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or fresh cilantro.
